When we only have 3 hours of sleep per day during the festive season, it can be difficult juggling between business, family and having insufficient sleep.

As a single mother, I had to ensure that my daughter was well taken care of at the same time as well. Without our Lord, it is truly impossible to go through such season

b) What is your sweetest story?

There was so much favour from our Lord in this business, I did not do any paid advertising in this business at all, yet my company was selected as one of the food vendor of SG World Heritage UNESCO. By God’s grace, we have been continuously featured all over media ever since we were incorporated on the second month of the business. Without us advertising, we know without a doubt that it’s truly God’s footprints over our business.

His “favour” is my sweetest story.

c) Out of 100%, what is the percentage of bitterness verses sweetness in your entrepreneurship journey?

I would say 20% bitterness & 80% sweetness. I am enjoying every moment in what I am doing each day.

d) Share with us what drives you to embark on building your own business.

The passion & love for food!

Being able to create new healthier recipes, recipes not found elsewhere, new menus, meeting new people, sharing with them on our food, creating better service and bringing the best to other is something that drives me to embark on my own business.

Above these, God, family, my dreams and my goals give me strength. And most importantly my love for people.

e) What advise would you offer to future young budding entreprenuers?

The journey to being an entrepreneur is never easy, at times it may seem very tough, but perseverance & God’s blessings will definitely lead you to success.

But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
Matthew 6:33 (NKJV)

I truly believe that with God all things are possible.

Pray daily, continue to sow seeds of hope, faithfulness and live a disciplined life.

When you are faithful in doing what you know to be right, God will reward your diligence and you will reap a harvest of victory.

f) Given another choice, what profession or career choice would you have chosen apart from your current?

I would have chosen a job that allows me to interact with others, meeting new people & on top of that I love kids.

I would probably set up a Christian preschool as its important for children to start learning the right thing from young. It’s always good to know God at a young age and start with the right believing to lead them to a right living.

g) What it takes to be a successful CEO?

In my perspective, a successful CEO is joyful, enjoys what she’s doing, having a blissful family, have time with God daily, being able to serve others in her career, creating a marketplace and staying healthy! She will be a blessing to others as her blessings overflow as well. She is humble, always putting others before herself, looking out for others interest instead of herself.
